Consciously Create Your Heart’s Desire
A rock pile ceases to be a rock pile the moment a single man contemplates it, bearing within him the image of a cathedral. ~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
One of the most powerful tools that you can instantly and constantly access is your imagination. When you engage your amazing imagination, you can create anything! Whatever you desire to be, to do or to have, you must first see it in the theater of your mind. Consistent focus and attention on your heart’s desire engages your subconscious mind to bring into your awareness the resources you need to fulfill that desire.
Everything is created twice – first in your mind, then in your reality. For the creation of your heart’s desire, you must give full emotional attention and focus to it. It is easier to focus on the bills, the debt, and the unsatisfying job because it is right in your face each and every day. It is much harder to see your heart’s desire because you have been out of touch with it for so long. As a child, you knew exactly what you wanted to be, to do and to have and you had no problem expressing it. But as you grew older, you learned to conform and to be like everyone else; so you became more and more distant from your heart’s desire.
It’s time to get back in touch with your heart’s desire. It has never left you although you may have forgotten it. You touch pieces of your heart’s desire when you are feeling total elation and joy. I am sure you know that when you are engaged in an activity that you absolutely love and enjoy, something amazing happens: you lose all track of time; you never once think about your bills, your debt or your unsatisfying job; and you are happy, elated and full of joy. This is how you are meant to live out all of your days. Yes, there will come tragedies and trials, but they are meant to move you to a deeper level of awareness so you can appreciate those moments and the people in your life all the more.
When you are in the space of elation and joy, this is where you are touching your heart’s desire. Allow this to become a clue for you. Think about those moments when you felt on top of the world and wasn’t focusing on your trials. What were those times? Who were you being? What were you doing or having? What are the commonalities? Was it a certain time of month or year? Were there certain people around? When are those moments when you have no fears, doubts or worries? These are the moments of your deepest desires.
Nothing encourages creativity like the chance to fall flat on one’s face. ~ James D. Finley
Try re-connecting to those moments at least five to ten minutes each morning. Choose one moment, just one very sweet moment and write down a gratitude for it. This will frame your day and begin to reframe your negative thoughts. Doing this habitually over time will produce a tremendous effect on your thought process.
Before you know it, your debt and your bills won’t take up valuable real estate in your mind. What you will begin to notice is when you are less stressed and not focusing on the negative, you have room to create and expand your awareness; and your subconscious mind will bring into your awareness the means to alleviate the debt and the unfulfilling job. Because you are in a higher vibration, you are ready to create what you do want to be, to do and to have; instead of giving all your energy and attention to what you don’t want in your life.
If you allow the process, the process will work for you. At first, it does take conscious effort because you will be doing something you are not used to doing. But after continuous refocusing your attention, this will become your new normal. It took you so many years to habitually create what you do not want in your life – and you were doing it unconsciously. Now, through focused, deliberate and conscious attention, you can begin to create what you do want in your life – your heart’s desire.
