How To Consciously Move Your Body Energy
I am currently reading a great book (although slightly boring) about how to have an OBE (out of body experience). It’s called Astral Dynamics (aff. link) and it’s written by Robert Bruce. I may decide to review this book in the future.
In this book Robert Bruce pays a great deal of attention to the energy work on the body. Although his energy exercises are developed to have an OBE, they can also be used for other purposes, plus they affect your body in a very positive way.
If you do the energy exercises you will not have a spontaneous OBE, so don’t worry about that. The exercises can only aid you in having this experience, but they don’t make you project out of your body.
I tried the energy exercises from the book and they really work. I was very surprised how quickly my body responded to my thoughts of moving energy.
Before I explain how to do it, let me tell you about the benefits of moving energy.
The benefits of learning to move body energy
Your focus improves. Because you use your will for an extended period of time (3-30minutes) to move the energy with your mind, you greatly improve your focus. This makes it easier for you to concentrate on all kinds of tasks so you are more likely to finish the tasks you start.
You get less tired. The energy moving exercises allow you not only to move your own energy, but to get new energy from outside of your body. This new energy makes you capable of accomplishing more tasks and you get less tired at the end of the day.
It allows you to have OBEs. If you want to experience what it’s like to be out of your body, these energy exercises will help you do that. You will get in full control over your energy and therefore you will be able to pull it out of your body.
Your dreams become more vivid. If you do these energy moving exercises just before going to bed, the surplus energy will make your dreams more vivid. In reality, your dreams are always vivid, but sometimes you don’t have enough energy to remember them vividly. The surplus energy therefore will make you able to remember more details of your dreams and they will seem to be clearer.
You may start having lucid dreams. As you gain more and more control over your energy body, you will notice that you can become conscious when you sleep. This will allow you to experience lucid dreaming. Unfortunatelly I am still unable to experience lucid dreams (I had a few of them in the past, but I cannot experience them consciously). I hope, however, that if I continue with the exercises, I will eventually be able to do that.
It helps to detect future and current illnesses in your body. When you do the energy moving exercises and you notice that some parts of your body don’t respond to your will or they hurt when you try to move energy through them, it means that you’ve discovered a blockage. This blockage can mean that this area is weak, it’s about to get some illness or that it already suffers from some kind of illness. If the illness is still not in that area of the body, then further energy work on that area might stop the disease from forming.
Some precautions
As now you know the benefits of the energy moving exercises, you can decide if they’re worth engaging in. The energy moving exercises are very simple, but if you do them incorrectly you might suffer from pain in some areas of your body, too much energy circling inside your body or other uncomfortable sensations. To avoid that you should keep in mind some of the precautions before starting the energy work.
Firstly, you should work on the secondary chakras first, and only when these respond well to your thoughts, you can move on to the primary chakras. Secondary chakras reside in the middle of your both ankles, in the middle of the palms, in the finger/toe joints and tips of the fingers. There are many more secondary chakras, but these are the best ones to activate. Other chakras will respond when you start moving energy through your entire legs/arms.
Another thing you should keep in mind is that if you start feeling intense pain in some area of your body, you should stop trying to move the energy. Delay the exercises till the next day or the day after. If the pain continues, stop the exercises for longer.
You will notice that either your left or right side of the body responds slower to your thoughts. This is completely normal and with time both sides of your body will respond in a similar way.
Also, you may find it hard to fall asleep the first time you do these exercises, especially if you’ve done them for more than 15 minutes. That happened to me – I was in and out of my dreams and sometimes the reality completely mixed with the dreams and it was hard to tell if it’s happening for real. I like such experiences and I quite enjoyed them, but they may be a bit uncomfortable or even scary for you. If you don’t want this to happen to you, keep the energy moving exercises short (3-10 minutes).
In general, if you experience something uncomfortable in your body when doing the energy work, discontinue it for a day or even a week. When you no longer feel the uncomfortable sensations, you can proceed with the exercises.
How to consciously move energy
Sit on a comfortable chair and make sure you are wearing loose clothes. Wear loose socks or remove socks entirely. Scratch the middle of one of your ankles so that you would become aware of that area.
Close your eyes and try to feel the area you scratched. Then without looking at the ankle try to imagine how it would feel if you would draw circles in that area. You can even imagine that you are drawing a spiral with a brush or your finger. Try to feel how your skin in that area would feel if that would happen for real. The spiral can be of any size – remember, you are doing everything with your imagination.
Keep drawing the spiral until you feel something happening in your ankle. You may feel light itching or it may feel like someone/something is touching your leg. The ankle can also feel hot or cold or you may feel slight pressure or tingling. In general, if you feel something different about it, it’s likely that you’ve managed to activate the secondary chakra and now the energy is able to move freely in your ankle.
When you feel the energy movement in your ankle, move on to your other ankle. Then do the same for your hands, each of the fingers and toes. Then you can imagine brushing back and forth through your fingers, toes, hands and legs to activate other secondary chakras.
When your body responds well to your thoughts, you can do a split awareness exercise. This is basically trying to move the energy in both of your legs/arms at the same time. It takes practice and some people are unable to do it. Try it and see if that works for you.
There are many more exercises in the book that I haven’t mentioned in this post. The purpose of this post is to make you aware of the possibility to move the energy. If you want to take it further, I would advise you to get the book – it’s a really good read.

can you project the energy out of your hands or feet?
because if you could that means you could fly
or levitate
