10 Books That Will Change Your Life
1. “The Nature of Personal Reality“ by Seth (Jane Roberts)

This book will make you understand how you can change your life through your thinking, behaviour and actions. It teaches that you create your own reality and you are not at the mercy of your circumstances as many think.
Most people think that they are powerless over what happens to them but that’s not the case. Every single thing that happens to you is caused by you. The way you think is reflected in you outer reality. To change your reality, therefore, you need to change how you think.
This book places a great importance on the beliefs about life that people have. Your beliefs form your experience because you look at the world through your beliefs. If your beliefs are negative, therefore, you will color the world in a negative way and interpret everything through your negative beliefs.
This book therefore is great for people who don’t understand how to change their lives and who feel disempowered.
2. “You Can Heal Your Life” by Louise Hay

This book is perfect for people with health issues because it shows exact steps to take to heal any kind of disease. It also shows you the reason why you have some particular disease. I summarised some causes of diseases from this book in this article.
Some people think that you get any kind of disease out of nowhere, it just attacks you without you doing anything to cause it. That’s, however, not the case because every disease is caused by your thinking, focus and emotions.
If you, for example, hold resentment or you cannot forgive someone, that could manifest as a cancer or some other illness. So it’s important to understand what attitudes, emotions and thoughts cause such conditions and how to cure them.
3. “Think and Grow Rich“ by Napoleon Hill

If your financial situation is negative, you can greatly improve it by reading this book. It will explain why you don’t have money and how you can greatly improve your financial situation.
It’s a book that was read by millions of people and is responsible for the success of countless individuals. It’s the book that most self-made millionaires recommend as a must for those who seek financial security.
Think And Grow Rich focuses on the importance of positive thinking, persistence and definite goals to create financial freedom. It gives you never-failing wealth principles and timeless advice about wealth creation.
4. “Getting Things Done“ by David Allen

If you are unproductive and you never seem to accomplish anything, this book is for you.
The basic concept behind the book is that for you to get better at finishing what you started you have to clear your mind from thoughts that are not related to your work.
David Allen also stresses the importance of having a calendar where you can record important tasks needed to get done by a particular date.
He also suggests to review your To do lists and other tasks daily so that you would always know what your next step should be.
5. “Feel the Fear And Do It Anyway “ by Susan Jeffers

This is an excellent book for those who are scared to change their circumstances or to improve their lives. It explains why it’s important to deal with fears because if you don’t do that, you will suffer from anxiety which will create further fears. Here’s how the author puts it:
“Pushing through fear is less frightening than living with the underlying fear that comes from a feeling of helplessness.”
It emphasizes the importance of doing the exact thing that you fear because it’s the only way to stop being afraid. When you face your fears you will realise that they were not real it was all in your mind. We usually make a bigger deal out of fear than it really is and we can only understand this if we face such fears.
This book also teaches that you can only personally grow when you do courageous acts and take risks. When you don’t grow, you stall in your life and maintain your comfort zone which does you no good. Therefore facing your fears and moving forward is essential if you want to have a happy and fulfilling life.
6. “Ask and It Is Given” by Esther and Jerry Hicks

This book explains the importance of your intent and your concentration. What you focus on you always get, but most people get what they don’t want because they focus on what they don’t want. Instead you should focus on things that you want to happen in your reality and so they will if you allow them.
This book also explains that it’s important to only do things that you want to do. It explains that there is a reason we like doing some activities and avoid others.
Our feelings always guide us to our purpose, happiness and joy. Only when we go against the flow do we experience struggle and all kinds of unfortunate events.
7. “Rich Dad Poor Dad“ by Robert Kiyosaki

This is a great book for those who don’t understand the how the money game works. Robert Kiyosaki describes in great detail the reason why most people never accumulate much money and how to escape the “rat race” that so many people remain stuck in till they die.
He emphasizes the importance of understanding assets and advises to firstly invest in assets to create passive income and only then buy expenses. Passive income leads to financial security therefore it’s important to create streams of such income as soon as possible.
This book teaches a lot about investing in real estate, but even if you don’t plan to do that, this is a great read that might just open your eyes to ways of creating abundance.
8. “How To Win Friends and Influence People“ by Dale Carnegie

This book is a real eye opener to those who find it hard to form long-lasting relationships with people, gain their respect and loyalty.
It gives many obvious but widely overlooked techniques of how to make people like you and it also uses a lot of reverse psychology methods of getting positive response from the people you want to influence.
Every single advice that the author gives is backed by the evidence of it working in real life situations.
I have reviewed this book in great detail in my email newsletters’ copies which can be found in this section of the website.

If you are not satisfied with what you have and want to change your life, this book might be just the thing you need. It gives you tips on not only how to visualise, but also how to affirm what you want and how to make your own treasure map to make a lasting change in your life.
The suggestions in this book definitely work because they are based on never changing laws of the universe.
So if you find yourself in negative circumstances and negative things seem to happen to you, you should read this book which will enable you to change your reality to a more pleasing one.
10. “You Were Born Rich“ by Bob Proctor

Bob Proctor is a success mentor who made thousands of people millionaires through his courses, books and seminars. His advice is sound and applies not only to wealth but also to other areas of life.
As he points out the amount of money that you currently earn has to do with how you think about money and your awareness. If you change your thinking and expand your awareness, you will earn much more money.
In the book Bob Proctor gives tasks which may not be too comfortable, but they will definitely change your life if you go ahead and do them. For example, he suggests to book a holiday in advance even if you have no money because if you book the holiday now, you will attract money anyway. This will happen because you put the demand for what you want and so supply must come. I seriously advise you to get this book if you want your financial situation to greatly improve.
