Your Comfort Zone


You are where you are because of your comfort zone. Your current reality became very comfortable to you. Maybe too comfortable.

Now you realise that you want to change. You know that you can be so much happier than you are.

All is good. But one thing.

You are scared to death to make a change.

Why does that happen? You see, comfort zone is a really annoying thing. Once you get too comfortable in one place, you get used to it.

You are a habitual being. You like familiarity.

Everything that is not familiar is scary. This is because you are not certain how that new environment will effect you. Will you be welcome? Will it make you feel good? What if not?

“Probably I will stay where I am. At least I know what to expect.”

Biiiiig mistake.

The more you delay change, the more you will be scared of it.

Fear is a funny thing, you see. You are so scared of leaving your job, starting new business or splitting up with a horrible partner. Yet once you do that, you realise that there was nothing to be scared out there. Fear looks only scary when it is far away. Once you approach it, it begins shrinking.

How to change your current reality

The best way to change is to burn all the bridges behind you. When there is no way back. You can use this tactic if you really feel that the change will benefit you.

Tell all your friends about what change you are going to make. This way you will feel more pushed to make this change because you will be embarrassed to stay where you are.

Write in your diary exactly when the change will happen. This is not a radical step, but it will tell your unconscious mind to make a change within this time frame.

Adjust your vibration to that of a new comfort zone. Think about how people in your desired situation behave. What they have. Where they go. Do the same things as them. This will add extra speed to your change. This step is very important. Do not ignore it.

And please, do not think how scared you are. The more you fear, the bigger fear looks to you. Think the opposite. Think how courageous you are. Think this way until you really convince yourself.

If you are still scared to get out of your comfort zone, be scared and do it anyway. Trust me, even if you make mistakes, you will benefit from them. You will learn from them and succeed next time.

There is nothing worse than to be too scared to act. You will regret if you decide not to. But it may be too late to change.
