How To Be Happy No Matter Where You Are
You can learn how to be happy even without being anywhere near the achievement of your goals.
It is important to become positive and joyful if you want to change your life.
Without changing your state of being you will not be able to move from where you are now to where you want to be.
It is impossible to find happiness outside of yourself and it is better not even attempt to do that.
If you try to find happiness in something else than yourself you will be disappointed because you will realise that nothing else can give it to you.
Of course, you may temporarily become happy by using some external excuse, like shopping or finding a new partner, for example. But such happiness is always temporary.
The only way to find true happiness which lasts forever is by searching for it inside you. What you pay attention to brings out those features in yourself. So if you pay attention only to things that make you happy or that are pleasant to your eyes, you will eventually bring out those features in you.
This way you will start attracting other positive things and events into your life because they will resonate with who you have become. The proof of your absolute control of your happiness will make you confident and relaxed. That’s how the true happiness will come into your reality and stay there.
Please yourself
To learn how to be happy you should try to please yourself as often as you can. You should do things you enjoy doing, things that relax you and raise your mood. Such things can be meditation, watching comedies, eating food you love, being with good friends, taking nice bath, exercising, sleeping, dressing well, etc.
The more joyful things you do, the more positive you become, the more good things you will attract into your life.
You can never change your current circumstances if you do not change your main mood. So if you keep trying to find only best things to focus upon, the reality must change because you will raise your mood and therefore your point of attraction will shift.
Your reality cannot change instantly because you have been in the same state of mind for a very long time. You have to now grow out of your old reality into the new one you are creating.
You should always be happy about even the smallest signs showing that your reality is changing. The more you are happy about them, the more and bigger changes will come into your life.
Such small signs can be something like the unexpected receiving of money, meeting of an old friend, invitation to some party, or just the feeling of happiness.
In fact, when you start feeling happy for no reason, this is an indication that you are about to change your reality into a more positive one. Many people find it strange when they start feeling very good without any reason, and their ego (which is your limited beliefs) talks them out of this happiness and makes them miserable again.
The example of this situation could be when you start feeling joyful whilst doing something usual, like reading. There is nothing to be happy about, but you just suddenly feel amazing.
Now your ego kicks in because you start paying attention to this present moment, rather than focusing on your mind. So you start hearing a voice in your head saying ‘Why are you happy about? There is nothing you should be joyful for. You did not achieve anything you planned yet, there is not even any evidence of that. You do not like where you live and your life is nowhere near where you want it to be’ .
After hearing such voice you start feeling doubtful about your feeling of happiness and it vanishes from your mind. You start feeling as you always did, a bit fearful and unhappy with where you are. When this or similar situation plays out and you give in to your old habits, you stop happiness and better future from reaching you. Back to square one.
How to be happy with where you are
Even if your present circumstances are really bad and you are nowhere near where you want to be, you can change this. You can learn how to be happy by going with the flow rather than against it. When you are in the flow of life, everything comes your way.
To get into the flow of life you need to become positive by observing positive things in your current reality. You are where you are, but you always have the option to choose where your attention is going to be. You are in complete control of your focus, so you should use it wisely and pay attention to only some aspects of your reality.
This way you will start appreciating your current reality because your attention will always be fixed on the good aspects of it. The bad aspects will die off because you will not pay any attention to them.
The less you pay attention to the negative aspects of your reality, the less they resonate with you and with time you will be unable to spot them at all, because you will stop activating this kind of vibration (the vibration of those negative aspects) in yourself.
So now when you do this, you appreciate where you are and the appreciation of your current reality opens the doors to a better reality. It is impossible to hate your present reality and be able to get out of it into a better one. It never works this way.
When you appreciate where you are and hope to get more, you are allowing all the good things that you wanted to have come into your reality. When you are doubtful about your ability to change circumstances and get out of your unsatisfying present reality, you close the doors to better things.
Doubtfulness and other negative feelings/thoughts block you from improving your life. Hopefulness, faith and happiness open the doors to all your desires to come into your reality.
The art of doing nothing
You should not take too much action, especially when you feel frustrated or when you have any other negative feeling. It is better to take less action and just try to focus on things you are happy about. You should only take action when you are inspired to do so.
You may notice that when you take less action and just do nothing, you become happier. At first, when you try this, you may feel awkward and guilty because your ego will tell you that you should be doing something and by doing nothing you are just wasting your time.
But if you take less action and just relax into your present moment, you will notice that inspiration and happiness can reach you much faster this way.
When you do nothing and you suddenly get inspiration and take some action as a result, that action will bring you closer to your desires. By doing nothing you start understanding how to be happy. When you are frustrated and take constant action, it distances you from your desired reality.
I know that it may sound strange because we were all conditioned to take constant action. We are trained to believe that only through taking action we will understand how to be happy. Sometimes it takes a long time to understand that this is just a common but false belief.
Less but more quality action always leads to better results. When you feel that you are supposed to take action but you take action out of this feeling that you are supposed to do that, it never produces good results.
So just relax and let the flow of life take care of you. You will notice that the more relaxed you get, the less action you take, the more good things come your way. The more days you are happy and relaxed, the more in the flow of life you get, the more of your intentions manifest straight away and you finally understand how to be happy.
So think more about great things you want to experience, and take less action unless you are inspired to take it or feel happy about taking it. And never ever feel guilty about not taking enough action. Guilt will block you from receiving your desires. Just trust that the universe will sort everything out for you.
