Why Escaping Your Mind Is A Good Idea And How To Do It

I hope you are having a great summer. I just thought of writing this newsletter article, so you got it the same day I wrote it. I got inspired to write about the subjects of appreciation and escaping your mind.

The reason most people in this world are unhappy is because they live in their minds. They focus on their past or they fearfully try to guess their future and thus end up manifesting more of the things they don’t like. In addition to that, when you live in your mind, you grow your ego. The ego can only exist in your mind because it was created by your mind, so the more present you are, the more you diminish your ego.

To feel truly happy, you should learn to escape your mind. That is a hard thing to do, however, because your mind will do anything it takes to keep you focused on it. Your mind, of course, is important, but most people dwell in it to the extent that they lose the balance and therefore feel empty inside. That emptiness (or loneliness, in other words) is caused by forgetting your spiritual side.

When you try to escape your mind, it will try to convince you that it’s better to keep dwelling in it. After all, there are so many tasks that you still need to accomplish and God forbid you would forget one of them. Or you are really upset about something and you feel this need to keep entertaining the thoughts of betrayal and unfairness. Know that this is just a habit of your mind which keeps you unhappy, it’s not a real necessity to keep dwelling on the thoughts of negativity.

When you understand that you don’t have to focus on your mind, you will then find it easier to escape it. To escape your mind, you should pay attention to what is happening now. Basically you should be completely present and observe what’s around you rather than focus on your thoughts.

I love being in central London because it’s so beautiful and it has a lot of history, but I see many people completely disregarding the beauty of this city. The faces of passers-by are gloomy; daily stress left them looking pale and older than they really are. This is all caused by being the prisoners of their minds. All it takes to shift the reality of routine and unhappiness is to be centred in the present moment.

When you are completely present, you understand that at this very moment, nothing bad is happening in your life. You simply enjoy what is in front of your eyes. You pay attention to things you used to take for granted, like the intense green color of plants or beautiful white clouds in a bright blue sky. The attention to natural things makes you feel happy and you appreciate the beauty of nature. This attention makes you feel grateful that you are alive and that you are able to see this perfect creation.

I’m quite sensitive to the energies of other people as well as my own energy, so I can feel the fluctuations of my vibration. When I’m completely present, my vibration is really high. You could even say that I feel lighter and nothing bothers me. As soon as I go into too much thinking, I can feel the confusion in my mind settling in and my vibration going down. It’s amazing how quickly the energy can shift depending on what you focus on.

As I’m writing this newsletter article, I’m sitting in my home office enjoying a cool summer breeze through a halfway opened window. Through the window I can see my garden: beautiful pink flowers slightly moving when the wind blows, plenty of green bushes and a couple of small trees with tiny light green leaves. I can hear the birds singing and I feel so happy and relaxed. I appreciate it all, because that’s a gift from the universe to me.

No matter who you are or what circumstances you are in, there is always something you can appreciate and feel thankful for. The attitude of gratitude is what makes you able to manifest better things in your life. So whenever you feel down, try as quickly as you can to escape your mind.

Your mind is the only thing that keeps you down, although that may not look like it at that moment. You may think that this person or that circumstance is what keeps you upset, but that’s never the case. It’s your reaction to whatever happens which keeps you down.

Try to escape your mind. All the wisdom comes from the present moment and not from your mind. If you want to change your circumstances or solve some problem, the best way to do that is by staying present and then acting on your intuition that can only be accessed when you are present.

I wrote this article not from my mind, but from the present moment. When you are tuned into the present moment, you get in touch with the universal intelligence and you feel the need to share this wisdom with everyone.

I hope that this article will inspire, relax and encourage you to stay present and appreciate this world more than you do now. Thank you for reading this far.

By the way…
