Media Influence – How to Escape This Power

Media influence is so subtle that you may not even feel how it quietly sneaks into your life and takes over every aspect of it.

It may seem very innocent to spend couple of hours watching news or listening to the radio.

Yet there is a huge process going on in your subconscious mind, filtering and storing all the information.

ubconscious mind takes everything that you put in your head as truth.

It is like a small child that listens to every word of his parents without even slightest doubt.

When you take the information for truth and dwell on it for a while, you start seeing evidence of it in your outside world. It does not matter if the information is negative or positive, it will still be reflected in your life.

Whenever you observe new information, you will try to verify if it is correct by seeking for the evidence of it. For example, when you hear that particular area of your town is unsafe, you will start examining that area in your mind in search for lack of safety. And sure you will find evidence! Plenty of it! If you search for something long enough, you are sure to find it.

Why media influence is harmful

Why do people that never miss news see poverty and crime in every corner? Why do they see victimisation and unfairness wherever they go? This is not a coincidence. This is the direct result of media influence.

Media influence makes you scared and closed to new experiences. Media shuts you into your own little world of insecure thoughts. You see unfairness and unhappiness everywhere you go.

Does media influence benefit you? All you do is put useless and harmful information in your head that will backfire at you sooner or later. Why would someone consciously choose to record poverty, death, violence and insecurity in their heads? Does it seem logical to you?

How is it possible not to question media influence? Only those on a very low awareness level can miss out on such a huge power.

No one became successful from media influence. People become successful by being selective what they put in their heads. It is unwise to let someone else select the content that your mind will consume.

Media influence as an accepted standard

You may argue that it is impossible to disengage from media as you would not be updated on a current situation. But I would rather choose what I wish to be updated on by using on-line search engines and my selected content, rather than turn on the TV to be bombarded by the depressing information.

As soon as I stopped watching it, I instantly became happier. The absence of the influential media changed my life. I became a different person.

I stopped gossiping, judging people, I became much more positive and happy. To tell you the truth, I did not have a bad day since I stopped being involved in media. You may not believe it, but that is truth.

Once you stop watching TV I advise you to start meditating. This will remove most of the negative thoughts that were the result of media and give you peace of mind.

It is media that makes you feel the way you feel, which is usually depressed, having no purpose in life or just feeling dull.

The more you watch TV or listen to radio, the more disasters you will hear, e.g. that someone was killed in your neighbourhood or that times are hard. Media forms the way you think and you let media do this.

Why do you always hear more negative than positive information on TV? Why do you feel sad, angry and insecure after watching news? Sometimes I think that society is kept in fear in such way.

People are discouraged to become entrepreneurs because media tells them that the economic situation is disastrous and many businesses fail. I think it is ridiculous when people take everything that is told as truth.

It is so easy to sum up how many people live. They watch TV, go to work, shop, eat and sleep.

That is not life. That is a horrible loop they are stuck in. To break away from such life means to change habits. Change the habit of absorbing media to doing something useful instead.

How your mind clears after stopping media intake

As soon as I stopped watching it, I instantly became happier. The absence of the influential media changed my life. I became a different person. I stopped gossiping, judging people, I became much more positive and happy. To tell you the truth, I did not have a bad day since I stopped being involved in media. You may not believe it, but that is truth.

Once you stop watching TV I advise you to start meditating. This will remove most of the negative thoughts that were the result of media and give you peace of mind.

You may feel the need to watch news after stopping it. However, be persistent and do not listen to news not even for a minute. Do not go back to your old habits. Be strong and do something better with your time.

How to fill a gap created by the media absence

When you stop watching news, you will feel a void inside you. Something has to replace the space created.

Do not let anyone fill this void for you. If you do not fill it yourself, be sure that someone else will.

Really think what you will do with this spare time. Do you want to expand your hobby time? Do you want to learn something new?

Remember what activities you enjoyed as a child. It would be great to revive some of them as they will make you feel joyful and full of life.

Live life, do not live in a loop. Have as many great experiences as you can, do as much as you can and live your life to the full.

You have plenty of time. Start choosing what great experience you wish to have next.

How to think using your influence-free mind

Now as no one else is pouring information into your head, you can start being selective. Read only information that is quality, empowering and has purpose. Read only information that will help you get ahead in life.

Do not fall for quick schemes no matter what you do. Personal development can only be achieved through the natural growth, not by taking short cuts.

After clearing your mind with meditation, you will notice that some other voice is waking up in you. It will be weak at first but let it grow. This is your inner voice unlike the logical thinking voice that was poisoned by the media influence.

Use this voice. Think by yourself. Do not let anyone you did not choose influence your decisions. Use your own judgement. Experience things you want to experience. Don’t let someone else decide that for you.

When you stop immersing yourself in media, you will find yourself happier, healthier and wealthier. You will travel much more often, meet interesting people, maybe even start a new relationship.

Things will change – I will guarantee you this. Get rid of the media influence and you will change your life for good.

After a week or some weeks, you will start feeling better. You may not get as many headaches as you used to get. Headaches may disappear at all (this happened to me).

You will have more energy. You will feel full of life. You will want to express the newly found energy in the most creative way. Yo will feel you want to contribute and create value. You will feel great!

Do you still think that watching news is such a good idea? If not, then my work was well done. I hope that many people will read this article and change their lives into meaningful and contributing. This is the purpose behind this article.
